Ed at Starbucks

Hi, I'm Ed Dolejsi

I’ve always had a thing for building stuff and figuring out how things work. My background is in mechanical and electronic engineering, but I pivoted to aviation about 35 years ago — and I’ve been designing VTOL aircraft since the early 2000s.

Back in the day, I founded and led Gemini Technology Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company where we pulled off an industry first — integrating all standard video functionality into a single chip. It was a big deal at the time, and it changed the way the PC industry handled multimedia.

These days, I’m still at it — drawing on decades of hands-on experience to help teams solve tricky problems, build smarter tech, and get their concepts off the ground. Literally. I'm not big on formality — I’d rather be swapping stories and ideas over coffee. Even now, I learn just as much from 20-somethings as they might from me.

Services I Offer

I take on a select number of consulting projects where I can bring real value. Here’s how I help:

Condor1000 Firefighting Aircraft

Embers: The Silent Threat

Wildfires don't just consume forests—they shatter lives. Carried by the wind, embers can travel miles ahead of the main blaze, igniting homes and turning cherished memories into ashes. Traditional firefighting methods often focus on the main firefront, leaving communities vulnerable to these stealthy invaders.

Introducing the Condor1000—our uncrewed aerial guardian designed to protect what matters most. Engineered to operate 24/7, in conditions that ground conventional aircraft, the Condor1000 stands vigilant when others cannot.

With precision targeting and autonomous capabilities, it seeks out and suppresses ember-induced ignitions, providing a critical line of defense for homes and communities.

Because every home saved is a story preserved, a future secured.
